Freya from Chobits

Freya is the twin sister of Elda (also known as Chii) and a very powerful Chobit machine. The Chobits are personal computers in the form of people who don’t need an operating system to run. The series does not focus much on Freya, but I thought she was beautiful and powerful and decided to pay her tribute as my first Anime Boston cosplay.
How I Made It
Freya is what I consider to be "closet cosplay" that is a cosplay that involves very little altering or purchasing of supplies. I bought the wig, wig spools, and "ears" off eBay and had the skirt, top, fishnets, and shoes at home. I tossed it all together and felt that I looked enough like Freya and headed to the convention.
Looking back at this cosplay, I realize that I look horrible as a blonde! I don’t think I’ll be cosplaying anymore blonde characters for a while. Although my outfit isn’t bad, and many people recognized me and took pictures, I feel that I didn’t do a great justice to Freya’s character. Although I may never cosplay a blonde again, I may still try to redesign a better Freya later on.
